We are not the installer
Access Home Path does not sell, deliver, or install equipment. Installation and service are performed by independent local providers, and any home modification work should be done by licensed professionals in accordance with local building codes, which may require permits. The manufacturer's manual controls how any specific piece of equipment may be installed and used; where our general guidance and a manual differ, the manual wins.
Typical figures are not quotes
Costs on this site, including tool outputs and article ranges, are typical published planning figures. Your price depends on your home, your equipment, and your local provider, and the only number that counts is a written quote. The same applies to coverage: we describe how Medicare, Medicaid, and veterans' programs typically work and link their official pages, but eligibility and payment decisions are made by those programs, not by us, and rules change. Our service is free to families. If we introduce you to a provider and you hire them, that provider may pay us a referral fee. That fee never changes your price, we never sell your contact details to lead marketplaces, and when we have no vetted provider near you we say so instead of selling your request to whoever will pay. Safety
Access equipment is safety equipment. Ramps need appropriate slope and landings, stair lifts need professional installation, grab bars need structural anchoring, and suction-mounted bars must never bear body weight. Our content describes the published standards these decisions are designed around, but the specific installation in your home should be planned and executed by qualified professionals.
